The Shadow Lord, also known as Shad the Destroyer, is the leader of the Shadow Knights. His purpose is to use the relic from Aphmau to rule the world. His plan involved Glenda sacrificing Cadenza to open the Nether portal. She did not succeed, but this event brought the Dark Lord to the forefront of the game. This is the ultimate goal of every Shadow Knight! But first, you must defeat the Shadow Lord.

Another drawback of Shadow Knight is its paywalls. Two of the four playable characters are locked behind microtransactions and are not unlockable through story progression. Shadow Knight Premium has a solid formula, stylized visuals, and room for growth. It’s incomplete, but has enough content for a couple of hours of fun. Hopefully, Fansipan Limited will return to add a bulkier post-launch package for this game. Meanwhile, Harmonia will have to wait for a future update. The book is full of interesting character development, but some of the rules are overly complicated. Demon creation is particularly complicated. The attribute rank chart is mind-boggling, with points and meanings for each of them. It could have been handled more efficiently as an extension of the Conjuration rules. If the developers had kept this in mind, it would be a much more accessible game. The Demons aren’t nearly as complicated as they are in the main character’s books.
